Chester Rodeheaver
VP of Finance and Investor relations
Chester Rodeheaver is Alamo Equity’s Vice President of Finance & Investor Relations. Chester began his career with Booz Allen Hamilton in Washington, DC. In 2003, he was recruited to join a Cisco- and Corning-led consortium in Dubai that was investing in the deregulating Middle Eastern telecommunications space.
In 2004, Chester formed a strategy and financial consulting boutique with two partners. Based in Dubai, the company focused on mergers and acquisitions, corporate finance, start-up financing, real estate, and entertainment.
The firm worked expensively to foster entrepreneurship in the region. After forming Pont Capital, Chester assisted dozens of start-up companies in Dubai and around the region, both in terms of planning and budgeting and in capital raising. He also served as the founding CFO of a social sports platform that has grown to over 100,000 members, a role in which he helped raise two rounds of capital. He also worked expensively with family offices, negotiating cross-border joint ventures and investments, as well as helping execute growth strategies domestically.
In the real estate arena, Chester has worked on projects ranging from greenfield hotel developments (from five-star to limited-service), buy-improve-sell residential projects, and acquisition of operating assets.
Chester earned a BA from the University of Virginia, an MPA from Harvard, and an MBA (with honors) from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business. He holds a CFA (Charted Financial Analyst), a Certified Valuation Analyst (CVA – associate) and studied abroad in Germany and at the Sorbonne in Paris. He speaks advanced German, French, and Spanish.
